The oldest L shaped part of the house dates to circa 1620 with later Victorian and Edwardian additions.

Guest experiences
We have had a great break in the delightful Loft! Everything is so beautifully crafted and thought through! Even with some (heavy) rain, we have been out and about in this stunning area, but we still have lots left to see – I feel we will be back! Thank you for all the ‘extra’ touches and for showing us around the ‘old bits’ of the property.
Jeia & Stephen – October 2025
‘What a glorious surprise. The Loft surpassed our expectations. Everything was so beautifully decorated and pristine. Think it must be the nicest place we have ever stayed. It was so lovely to wake up and be surrounded by the beautiful gardens. Well done Rosemarie for creating the perfect home away from home.’
Dudu & Blodwyn – December 2025

We would all like to say ‘thank you’ for amazing accommodation and a friendly welcome. We host New Year’s Day for family in Wales every year and have not been disappointed. Every need was catered for in a warm and welcoming home. We also went to Baffle Haus for coffee and a walk along the canal.
